Senior Care Services - Bringing Smiles to Seniors

We believe in the importance of Senior Care. Our Senior Services care program is designed to let seniors know that they are loved and to bring a smile to their face by providing them greeting cards that are handmade by our volunteers.

  • Our cards are delivered to seniors in all fifty states in several ways:

  • Cards are sent to senior communities and then distributed by Activities Directors in the senior community.

  • Cards are sent in bulk to senior programs like Meals on Wheels where they are packaged with the meals.

  • Cards can be sent directly to the Senior with permission of the recipient or family member.

Cards 4 Cancer Patients

Cards 4 Cancer Patients is an annual card drive that takes place every year. We are constantly creating cards and taking donations from others as well. We put together packets of 5 cards for each patient along with an update on our Non profit.

Cards 4 Cancer Patients was started by Karla Bostic

About Karla

Karla started this journey by helping a woman in the UK who had cancer. She sent the lady cards and then asked the lady running the drive, if she could collect cards in the USA and distribute them here. The UK Lady mailed the cards to patients but Karla made them into a packet of cards going to each person. Karla then came up with a name for the drive here. The UK Lady only did it one year, but Karla wanted to continue. Karla has been disabled and on bed rest about 15yrs now. She wanted to find something to do with her time. She was able to prop herself in bed and make cards. It really grew from there. She started delivering to Emory and the nurses loved them. Karla said it gave her a way to honor the Lord. This was her way to give back.

Karla is retiring from Cards4Cancer due to health problems. Karla is passing the torch to carry on to Juanita Sapp. Juanita will continue the good work that Karla has provided for so many years.

Thank you Karla for your dedication to cancer patients.
